Natrocell products are entirely safe to humans and can be used freely in human households or food preparation areas such as hotels, restaurants, bakeries etc) unlike other more conventional rodenticides which contain acute toxins.

There is also no evidence to suggest a risk to companion animals such as dogs and cats either from accidental direct intake of the products, or through secondary poisoning in consumption of rodent carcases.

Additional trials are currently under way on a range of different animals to further define the exact range of potential target species and confirm safety to non-targets such as dogs, cats, small birds, gamebirds and domestic fowl.Natrocell's products pose far fewer problems of non-target or secondary poisoning.

Natrocell products rely for their mechanism of operation on the rather specific structure and physiology of the rodent gut and its specific adaptations to the digestion of plant cellulose. Thus, because of the way they work, EradiRat® and EradiMouse® are actually quite specific to rodents.
